CMS Drop Off, Pick Up and Transportation Guidelines

Guidelines for Drop Offs, Pick Up or Transporting students at Cache Middle School (7th & 8th Grades) East Campus (Formerly LCS @ #2 Crusader Drive). 

Parents that are dropping off and/or picking up their students at CMS East are asked to enter the East entrance to the parking lot and exit at the West entrance before and after school. 

  1. CMS East students that do not have Athletics, Band or Tech. Ed. first period can be dropped off in the morning by car or their regular bus route at the CMS East Campus beginning @ 7:40 AM.

  2. Students that have Athletics, Band or Tech. Ed. first period should be either: a) dropped off at the main campus by a parent, b) ride their regular route bus, or c) be at the CMS East campus to catch a shuttle bus back to the main campus no later than 7:40 AM.

  3. Students that need a ride from the main campus to CMS East for first period can catch a shuttle bus, located on the North side of the Old Gym @ 8:00 AM.

  4. Some CMS East students will have electives on the main campus throughout the school day. Between 1st & 2nd periods, 2nd & 3rd periods, and 6th & 7th periods, shuttle buses will be used to get CMS students from elective classes on Main Campus to and from the CMS East Campus. Students will be picked up from central locations, such as the Auditorium, Fieldhouse/Tech Ed area, and the HS Gym. Pick up and drop off times and locations will be determined the first week of school and announced by their respective coaches, teachers and during announcements at school.

  5. At the end of the school day, CMS students can either be picked up by a parent/guardian in front of the CMS East building @3:15, or ride a shuttle bus back to the main campus to get on their regular route bus in front of the Intermediate School. Students riding the end of the day shuttle buses will depart from CMS @ approximately 3:08 each day.

For the safety of everyone:

  1. ALWAYS drive slowly

  2. Remember students and other pedestrians have the right of way.

  3. Be respectful of other drivers.
